Russell River Full Day Adventure

The Russell River is an untouched natural flowing river. It is renowned as the most beautiful commercially rafted river in the Cairns area. Sports raft the river for three hours - rapids graded 3-4, instructed by our experienced qualified guides. Water visibility is up to 5 metres, in this untouched river. FOAMING FURY is the only operator on the Russell River, so forget about crowds and lengthy delays.
Sports Rafts carry two passengers and are group guided under strict river guide supervision. Guides will provide the necessary instructions and river knowledge to allow you to enjoy the personal challenge of Sports Rafting in safety.
Numbers are limited to ensure personalised service and maximum fun! You will be required to share carry equipment through the rainforest. Rafting on the Russell River is perfect for beginners. No Experience necessary, however a medium level of fitness required and a basic understanding of English is required.
The Russell River is an ECO Tourism Accredited Rafting tour with an informative 35 minute walk through World Heritage Rainforest (grade - easy). For passengers with limited time this tour provides Rainforest and Rafting in one day. Get in the drivers seat and have fun!
